On this holiday of September 7, popular movements and sectors of the Catholic Church organized the traditional Cry of the Excluded in various cities across the country. In the 23rd edition of the action, the protesters went the streets under the motto: "For rights and democracy, the struggle is every day".

More than 50 families from Clodomir Santos, Ipueiras and Brejinho de Nazaré districts in Tocantins, have been suffering from death threats and attacks for several days. The intervention served to launch a manifesto against the criminalization of social movements and against violence in the countryside, which was beautiful by the singer Tico Santa Cruz on the night of Friday, May 5, 2017.

In the last four days, 170 thousand people attended the second National Fair of Land Reform, in São Paulo (SP), that closed this Sunday (May 7, 2017). According to the Landless Workers' Movement (MST), the event organizer, the event outshined the success of its first edition in 2015, when 150 thousand visitors attended the Fair.
