FREE LULA: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF STRUGGLE

Demonstrations were held in Washington D.C. and Boston on August 13, 2018 in conjunction with the international day in support of FREE LULA! The demonstrations were organized by Brazilians for Democracy and Social Justice.

Washington D.C.

United States: activists from Brazilians for Democracy and Social Justice, trade unionists from the largest trade union federations in the United States and representatives of civil society gathered today in front of the Brazilian Embassy in Washington DC to protest the political imprisonment of former President Lula and ask that be guaranteed their right to be a candidate in the next elections.

The demonstration was held in front of the Brazilian Consulate.
